YMDH tells stories with their designs. Last season it was the Godfather and Hong Kong movies from the 1990s, while martial arts movies from the Shaw Brothers Studio offer the basis for the Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Always playful and teasing, the designer reimagines contemporary wear by deconstructing gangster chic. A Hong Kong calligrapher was invited to create works that reflect the mood of the season, which are laser-printed on denims to showcase the coming together of artisanship, technology and fashion.
