The designer sets out to explore the relationship between biohacking – the upgrading of the human body – and cyborgs in the Cyber Organic collection for Fall/Winter 2022. While they were in the realm of the imagination in the metaverse, they are now possible with the advent of bio-technology. The collection combines the cyber and the organic, and the physical and the virtual, using chunky natural knits and techno fabrics to create a boxy silhouette. In every outfit there is a stark colour contrast and bio-virtualised images, while metal accessories create an image of the contemporary cyborg.
