If Hong Kong were a tribe, what would we wear to dress ourselves? The WHY SS23 COLLECTION brings us the fantasy. By taking the clothing of ethnic minorities as the inspiration, it incorporates the culture of Hong Kong and makes tailoring the focus of this collection. The 2D flat silhouettes like quadrate and T-sleeves are applied to everyday colourful items. At the same time, three-dimensional structures are added to traditional T-sleeved items like KIMONO sleeves, blending traditional culture and modern silhouettes to express the charm of Eastern and Western culture in Hong Kong.
