The SS24 season, MIDSOMMAR, is inspired by Midsummer, a traditional celebration when the Nordic summer solstice comes. People sing and dance on the cross wooden pillars surrounded by green branches and garlands while wearing traditional costumes to celebrate the coming of summer. The collection refers to the tailoring and embroidery of traditional Nordic costumes. The high-waisted lines are combined with bow elements and white embroidery, echoing the concept of Midsummer.
The brand now has a retail store. The designer is planning to develop another sub-line, Lapeewee Simple, focusing on white light wedding dress series, inspired by the baroque style of the 18th century with elements such as bows and corsets from baroque clothing.
