Due to COVID-19, life has changed. We can’t gather and must reduce contact with family and friends. No more handshakes or hugs. With a mask on, we feel more isolated than ever. The designer wants to send a positive message through this collection. Just like the lyrics in Coldplay’s “Fix You”, “I will try to fix you”, we should have hope that we can connect again in the future. The use of knots, straps and zippers symbolises connection and the hope that the world will gradually return to normal.
